the industry for decades. We’ve been in all aspects of the
industry: Employees, business owners, managers, platform artist,
manufacturer representatives, distributor sales and salon consultants.
We’ve also worked as product evaluators and technical trainers
throughout the world.
It is our
goal to make the career path of our peers smoother by sharing our
experience and providing “matter-of-fact” coaching that is not driven
by product sales. It’s personal attention with your best interest in

Meet
a
Coach - TED HALONE
Ted has been in
the industry for over three decades. His
passion for the industry moved him to be an "education junkie." This
desire for learning and advancing the profession has led him down many
avenues that he now shares with his peers.
Ted's life
experience means he can coach objectively. He has worked behind the
chair doing full-service hair care. When he has relocated, he
successfully used creative marketing ideas to rebuild his client base.
As a salon manager he has worked with inventory control of salon-use
product as well as the selection of home-maintenance retail products.
After
receiving his instructor's license he was selected to do advance
educational training with manufacturers. Beginning as a technical
support for platform Artists, he quickly moved to become the platform
artist. Ted received extensive training in perm waving, haircutting and
hair coloring – training used to support the manufacturers and
distributors as he traveled the United States. Manufacturers hired Ted
to evaluate products prior to their being launched on the market.
As a
Platform Artist Ted has worked at The Heartland Expo in Minneapolis;
Midwest Trade Show in Chicago; International Beauty Show in New York
City, New England Expo in Boston, Hair Color USA in Miami; and
International Hair color Exchange. Additionally he has traveled
extensively throughout the United States training at smaller local
events.
Ted has
been recognized by manufacturers and distributors for both his
technical skills and business development skills. He has been involved
in launching distributors as they begin product distribution. He has
worked as a salon sales consultant, trained the salon sales consultants
as well as the technicians providing salon support. In this capacity he
has streamlined technical manuals, written training manuals, provided
support for the company technical hotline and has written technical
tips for hairdresser use.
This diverse and
vast industry experience has enabled Ted to
see life from the point of view of many different people. He
understands the challenges for the manufacturers, distributors, salon
owners, independent contractors and individual stylist. His no-nonsense
approach to business will bring value and action to you.
